Cascabel Hardwood Floors
The Powder River Series
Engineered Construction
Powder River is an engineered hardwood floor. This allows for greater flexibility in its placement and installation. More importantly, engineered flooring allows for wide planks due to the measurable increase in stability over a traditional hardwood floor.
Aluminum Oxide Finish
An aluminum oxide finish prevents the degradation of a hardwood floor by creating a seal to protect from oxidation. Unlike some polyurethane finishes, aluminum oxide dries clear, preserving the color of the wood. Aluminum oxide also enhances the wood’s grain.

About Powder River
European Oak
European Oak floors are especially desirable because of a combination of the way they grow and the way they are milled. European Oak has a slower growth cycle than American Oak, resulting in a tighter grain. When it is processed in a particular way, the grain pattern actually changes in type from one side of the plank to the other. Because of this, these floors are highly prized, difficult to imitate, and truly unique.
